■ 地铁  The Subway

我一直在想做地铁区域的作品,但是现在是把它实现的时候了.
为了做得更有趣,我进了地铁的通风管道。分为3个步骤:通道,是地铁站和地铁的运输枢纽。我首先建低精度的环境做动态的场景,设置动画和相机移动。这时我已经开始播放音乐了,音乐这个阶段是我要做的最重要的环节之一,导试音乐是否匹配动画,如果匹配,那么动画就成功一半了.做完动态的动画之后,我开始精炼场景,加越来越多的成分.我很长时间做地铁运输的模型发了, 也许做了一天,带有所有的细节. 我创建了一个地铁站的段,这样我就可以复制一直用于其他地方,以便节省时间。为了优化渲染速度,我把场景单个单个分开渲. 地铁是从通道开始单渲出来的,我在后期制作里把他们连接起来.另外,如果你真的有需要的话,渲多些帧是个好做法,在剪辑阶段会更灵活, 这样还可以更好的匹配动画里的音乐,你还可以加速脚本,可以从一个绑到另外一个位置.
我通常渲一些层面,速度周率是很重要的,因为相机和地铁是快速移动的. 图的改变处,我不依靠模糊来计算。矢量动作模糊是建立在我所选的速度通道的基础上的。

Idea to make a subway area was always on my list, but now finally was to time to realize it. To make it more interesting, I decided to enter the subway trough vent shaft. I separated the process in 3 parts: The shaft, the subway station and the subway wagons. First I modeled low-res environment to make the animatic of this scene, setup the animation and movement of camera. This time I already started to play with music a bit, which was one of the most important steps I made, sound that matches the animation if half of the success. After the animatic was done, I started to refine the scene, adding more and more elements. The modeling of the subway wagon took me some time, day maybe, with all the details. I’ve created one segment of subway station, that I was able to copy as instance all the way to save the time. To optimize the render speed, I’ve separated the scene take by take. The subway was rendered separately from the shaft and I’ve connected them together in postproduction. Also it’s good idea to render more frames then you really need, it is more flexible in cutting stage, you are able to better fit the music to your animation, you can speed up the footage, use them to blend from one take to another etc. A rendered a couple of passes for this as usual, very important was velocity pass, because the quick moving camera and subway. I really didn’t want to rely on blur solutions calculated from the change in image. Vector motion blur……
